Véronique Goncalves

Member of the Paris Bar since 2004, Véronique Goncalves has extensive experience in Corporate law, M&A and Commercial Litigation in France and in the OHADA area.

In France, she advises and assists companies (start-ups, SMEs, SMIs and mid-cap companies) in their registration, developpment, restructuring and crisis litigation.

In the OHADA area, she advises and assists companies willing to invest there and supports them in the major fields of Business Law. She also assists them in the amicable settlement of disputes (in both Arbitration and Commercial Mediation) and in litigation.

As an Arbitrator, Véronique Goncalves is Member of the Arbitration Center of the Common Court of Justice and Arbitration of OHADA (CCJA – Ivory Coast) and Member of the Permanent Center of Mediation and Arbitration (CADEV – Cameroon).

She frequently delivers Business Law training seminars to her clients in Paris and Africa and as part of international institutions’ projects (the European Union, World Bank, French Developpment Agency).

She is a visiting lecturer at the Lille Catholic University and Paris II Panthéon-Assas University (Corporate Law, Commercial Law and Insolvency Law). She has also written numerous publications in the field of Corporate Law and Arbitration Law.

She is an Administrator of the Institut Euro-Africain de Droit Economique (INEADEC) and an Administrator of the Association pour l’Efficacité du Droit et de la Justice dans l’espace OHADA (AEDJ). She is a member of the Arbitral Women Organisation.
